Remix documentary: art doesn’t exist in a bubble

A documentary about remixing and copyright law– interspersed with copious amounts of Girl Talk. Although the argument is somewhat confusing at times, the crux of it lies with the assumption that deriving creativity from a work adds to the originals’ value.
Some artists get this; where would Daft Punk or Architecture in Helsinki be without the numerous remixes of their works floating around?
